June 2009

June 30th Billy had a doctors appointment at Childrens Hospital (Allergy Doc) and since Grandma and Kayla went with us we went down to the water front and had lunch, walked around and enjoyed the end of the day.

June 27th we had a baby show for Karine and Joe... Baby Ben.

Kayla had her 9th birthday and we went to the movies... total of 9 kids... what a night. Most important - she had a blast.

Kayla's class had a field trip to the Zoo in Tacoma. Kayla did a story about a blue tooth skink and the entire time I was reading the story I thought she was talking about a skunk and just splet it wrong. So she told me about the skink and we go to see one this year at the zoo... she was really excited...there was nothing the guy was able to tell her about the animal. My group that I had and they were tired at the end of the day and so was I.

Billy had a class field trip to see "Good Night Moon"... great day to go to Seattle and eat by the water fountain.

Planting the pumpkins that were started in the house... see the watermelons starting in the row next to the bricks... The kids and I went to Oregon to visit family... of course I forgot the camera while seeing family... but when we stopped for dinner on the way home the kids wanted their picture taken of their face before they rubbed off...

May 2009

May started out with planting trees and getting hair cuts and planting the garden...
After we got the garden planted, the kids wanted to make a scare crow... needless to say the ball became the head... worked for a couple days.

Billy got a tree from school and he planted it all on his own... did a great job, but dad helped in the assistance of getting the root deeper in the ground... so far as of today (8/1/09) the tree is still growing and hoping that this really hot weather doesn't kill it.

I went and got my hair cut to donate to lock of love and Kayla did the same thing...Billy took pictures of Kayla getting her hair cut.

April 2009

Digging for Rasor Clams was in the morning on Saturday and Sunday... Before we left the ocean we all went to the beach to enjoy the nice weather... and we'll they just couldn't help it. The longer we were there, the more wet they got... good thing dad had a change of clothes easily handy.

Finished April going to the Ocean, excaping from the remodeling and just enjoying time. First trip that Billy enjoyed digging. Weather was great and everyone had a blast.

Begining of April we were able to finish the kitchen...or at least making it usable. I was able to put back all appliances and dishes... The pictures are when the counter tops just got installed. I was soooooo excited that everything came together. I would have to say that hardest room to do, or at least for Will and I. There were so many items that you had to deside on and wouldn't know how they worked until they all came together. I apsolutely LOVE IT!

April 14th (Billys Birthday) strated out with a dusting of white stuff, it's April, but some little boy had made a wish that he had snow on his birthday...Didn't know how to tell him that it probable wont snow on this Birthday, we'll he got it.

April 10th - was raining pretty hard and Billy was out enjoying the spring weather...Will was able to capture these great shots.

March 2009

For the month of March it was interesting... my living room looked like a delivery dock and once I got it cleaned then the dinning room furniture went in, to clean that floor.

My cousins came in from Arizona, normally not this way in March but I think they had snow the entire time they were here... We met at the Eagles for breakfast and all the young ones were sitting together... picture time.

Picture the kids took of my mom, kind of dark but a good one...

Billy at Tae Kwon Do... he tested and moved up to a Green Belt. Very proud of his dedication. Once Billy moved to a Green Belt, Kayla joined... now they are both Green Belts and in the same class... much easier on Mom.

March 22nd, we figured we would take a break from the kitchen and enjoy some time with the kids and treat them (for being so patient with mom and dad thru the construction) and we went and played put put golf.

Who new that at the end of March we would get snow AGAIN. March 28th, we had some more snow. And the weekend before we were all in sweatshirts playing golf.

End of February

Billy was so excited that he learned how to make an arm pit fart that he wanted me to take pictures...

The Bike Gang in Glacer Vista... Billy, Conner, Riley, Kayla and Chantelle
